''Now You Know'' Musical review

The bubbly sparkplug Chanel West Coast gives quite an show with her debut mix tape "Now You Know". West Coast earlier announced that she had signed to Young Money during an interview at SXSW in March 2013.

  • "Pursuit of Happiness" is an great song to start off with. As Chanel says "Living for the moment, hold our hands way up, Haters want to hate us cause they can't be us" this song shows the start of an independent woman.
  •  "KARL", reminds me of an transition from an classy, slower pace song like "Adore You" to sudden "infectious" of  "We Can't Stop".
  • "Been On" which features French Montana, has some slight dubstep and synth pop fusion. My of my favorite songs from the mix tape.
  • "Mazel Tov" , the song has an wide-ranged production and is fantastically unhinged and more edgier.

Overall review, "Now You Know" accomplishes [the] mission" of "[selling] West Coast as an independent woman, its' hip-hop-inspired vibe makes "Now You Know" fiercely individual. The mix tape earns an B-.
